Rebel Bean Roasters Bag Design
The next stage of branding for Rebel Bean Roasters in Okotoks after logo design was packaging design.
The design would be confined to full-colour labels that would be placed on white 400g matte vacu-sealed bags.
From a design perspective, I designed each label to have the same vintage design elements as the logo in regards to colour palette and treatment. Each blend is not only identified by title but differing colours which relate to specific blends. Each label is designed with extra white space to create a seamless blend with the bag.
FAHR BREWERY BEER LABELS
To bring their beer public, Fahr brewery in Turner Valley decided to use Converge Studios to design labels for their ‘Fahr Out Pilsner,’ ‘Fahr Away Hefeweizen’ and ‘Fahr North Dunkelweisen.’
Utilizing the already established brand guidelines, I produced three distinct labels that evoked the traditional ‘German’ style that would be informational as well as stand out on shelves.
Since the launch the Brewery has made a few changes; they now have a new minimal design as their consumers thought that Fahr was an already established beer from Germany and the new shift in design is to re-brand them more in the microbrew/craft beer market. This goes to show that business should be able to pivot to consumer perception.

Hard Knox Brewery in Diamond Valley Alberta has been an ongoing client for many years I have had the opportunity to redesign the look og their core line of beer as well as all of the seasonal labels. Below is a sampling of some of the labels I have created for this company.
